BEYOND A TUNING
Every instrument is different. I’ll examine the cause, explain the choices and quote larger work before it begins.
Regulation adjusts the relationships among keys, hammers and dampers. Touchweight analysis helps identify why some notes feel heavier or lighter than others. Together, these services can give you a more even, controllable action.
Hammer work can address an uneven or overly bright tone. I assess the instrument’s condition and your musical goals before shaping or voicing the hammers.
From sticking keys and pedal problems to keytop replacement, rebushing, worn action parts and broken strings. More involved keyboard and action jobs are estimated individually.
